I moved to South Carolina In January of '08 for a news producing job in a bigger market, but will always call Illinois home! I love to travel... I spent two summers in France, and also spent some time in London, Amsterdam, and Dublin. My favorite place is Nice, France. The Eiffel Tower is beautiful but nothing beats the big city/small town combination you get in Nice. It has everything! I've worked in the news business for a lot of years, starting very early in high school. I've had a lot of wonderful opportunities in my career and have been very lucky to have experiences my colleagues never will. I count my blessings for that! This blog is about anything and everything. I often blog about news, but include my personal life as well. Hope you enjoy!

Perhaps. But I suggest that you don't let anyone catch you with a coloring book and crayons without a five-year-old acting as beard.
I was just thinking about coloring today! I bought some Christmas coloring books when the Ben Franklin store was going out of business. Unpacking the Christmas decorations, I came across them and there they sit on the kitchen table. No, we don't have young kids but I guess I have to keep them around because I don't want to grow up!

Great for stress! I'm thinking I miss coloring and I need to get me a new book and raid my girl's room to find some crayons:) I use to always have my own big box that I kept hidden. hummm....
Coloring is great! Much like life, sometimes you should intentionally color outside the lines.
A few weeks ago, Todd and I were bored because TV sucked and we each colored a picture out of the coloring books I have...with the crayons I have. Thank yo Jill B. for helping me stay 5 years old for a little bit :-)

I believe you are never too old to... hula hoop. This was the only thing I really want for christmas. No joke, watch for me on nationals next year. Hot, damn hot. I think this blog was meant for me. I could go on all day.
